Corn from Brazil reached 44.9 million tons in 2019 and Brazil became the largest corn exporter in the world, surpassing even the United States. Daily average exports was 332.8 thousand tons, and in 2020, in the same month, it has increased to 408.5 thousand tons. A contributing factor to this is the growth in Brazilian cereal production over the years.
